"Are You Ready for Some Football?" A Super Bowl Party wouldn't be complete without some tasty desserts and other homemade treats. Here are several party food suggestions just for you.

Be sure to check out this Planning Guide for Super Bowl Parties on our site to Entertaining

1. Brownies

Some will say that a Super Bowl party is not complete without at least one person bringing brownies. There are tons of recipes out there, but why not bring a brownie that's a little different. I doubt more than one person will be bringing Cheesecake Brownies.

2. Cheesestraws

I'm sure these are eaten everywhere, but they, like the boiled peanuts, are very popular in the southern U.S. Cheese Straws are another wonderful treat to bring to a Super Bowl party.

3. Peanut Brittle

Crunchy-foods seem to fit the ticket as far as Super Bowl Parties go. Chocolate Peanut Brittle is crunchy and sweet.

4. Jalapeno Cornbread

Nay chili, nay football. Nay chili, nay cornbread. It all means you can't have football without chili, and you definately can't have chili without cornbread. Cornbread is one of the easier quick breads you can make.

5. Raspberry Red Velvet Cake

The best part about this Raspberry Red Velvet Cake is the layer of Raspberry Jam just below the icing.

6. Salted Pecans

It's all in the butter. That's what makes these Salted Pecans taste so fabulous.

7. Cut Fruit Plates

Okay I know, Super Bowl parties only come once a year, but there's got to be some kind of balance. Between all of the alcohol, salt, fat and sugar consumed during one party, having a little fruit won't hurt them.

8. Pecan Tassies

I like Pecan Tassies because you can just pop them in your mouth. There are also Step by Step Photo Instructions for Making Pecan Tassies.

9. Boiled Peanuts

Maybe it's just a southern-thing, but we just love our Boiled Peanuts. A special note here, they can be a little messy, so I'd ask the host or hostess if it would be okay to bring them.

10. Sweet and Salty Fudge

Then, there's always fudge. With all the recipes out there, this recipe for Sweet and Salty Fudge is my favorite.
