Butter Spritz Cookies Dec 1st 2011, 11:01 1 cup (2 sticks) butter 1 cup powdered sugar 1 egg 2-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract* 2 teaspoon baking powder 2 cups flour Sprinkles for garnish Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream butters and sugars until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Completely combine. Combine baking powder and flour in separate bowl with wire whisk. Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture. Make cookies according to cookie press directions. Sprinkles are added before baking. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes. Cookies will still be light in color. *You can use other extracts for different flavors. Makes about 4 dozen.
