Spiced Pumpkin Tiramisu is an interesting twist on the typical Italian custard recipe.
Arrange ladyfingers on the bottom of a 9-inch square pan. Pour the Frangelico liqueur or orange juice over ladyfingers.
In a mixing bowl, blend together mascarpone and pumpkin puree. Add spices, powdered sugar and orange extract. Fold in 1-1/2 cups whipped cream. Pour over ladyfingers. Gently spread remaining whipped cream on top of pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle top with additional cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice. Cover and refrigerate at least two hours before serving, or overnight. Slice to serve.
